OnePlus is Mid-Class Smartphone
The coming smartphone from the company OnePlus is to appear already before Christmas, so the co-founder of the enterprise from India, Carl Pei. It is a mid-class smartphone that is expected to cost about 180 to 300 US dollars.
According to the Economic Times, according to OnePlus India it should appear before the end of the year to take the Christmas business still and the customer base to expand accordingly. Car Pei has further stated that the new smartphone is to be sold worldwide, but the customers in India are at the center of the efforts.
Managing Director Vikas Agarwal reveals that the new OnePlus smartphone will be an absolute lifestyle product, which is by no means a flagship. This statement coincides at least with the announcement of Carl Pei last month that the now OnePlus Smartphone is made for a different target group type, perhaps for those who design design over technical characteristics.
OnePlus has made a name for itself in recent years. Worldwide, professionals and smartphone users have licked their fingers after the powerful devices. India is, of course, an enormous market, which already accounts for seven percent of the total sales per year. In the first quarter of 2015, 40 percent of sales came from India alone. The worldwide turnover would surely have been much higher if it had not been the case with the invitations. As a result, OnePlus was able to build a real myth around itself while still keeping sales within a controlled framework so as not to drown in the orders. However, Agarwal himself now said that OnePlus will open its own online shop for the next real flagship in India, which will also sell the new smartphone without an invitation. Currently OnePlus has only one portal, which redirects its buyers to wholesaleably.com. There the OnePlus 2 can be purchased with a corresponding invitation.
New Smartphone Oneplus 2 Mini?
The new mid-class smartphone from OnePlus is called “OnePlus 2 Mini / One Plus X”. In addition, it will have a fingerprint scanner as well as a 13 megapixel camera on the back. The display will probably dissolve with 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. Inside the smartphone, a MediaTek MT-6795T eight-core processor operating at 2.2 gigahertz is supported by 2 gigabytes of RAM. The internal memory of the new smartphone will be 32 gigabytes.
Whether these technical data are actually true, we will probably only find out when the smartphone is released. An exact date has not yet been fixed. However, it almost borders on modesty of OnePlus to call these data as “middle class”. Well, 2 gigabytes of memory are no longer a lot for a smartphone today, but a solid 2.2 core core processor and a 13 megapixel camera are not without and can keep up with current flagships of other brands at least.
We are looking forward to the new data and whether the new OnePlus Smartphone is really only designed for design.
Do you think it is still worthwhile for OnePlus to publish a smartphone by the end of the year, or is the OnePlus 2 perfect to lure the customers?
